Screen printing
Screen printing is a stencil-based process that uses a fine mesh stretched over a frame. A stencil—whether a paper cutout or a photo-emulsion layer—is applied to the screen, allowing ink to pass through open areas with the push of a squeegee. I often use screen printing to create full colour CMYK images or to introduce layers of colour and metallic, enriching the monochromatic depth of my intaglio prints.
